After some time doing massage therapy and personal training, she moved to Los Angeles where she graduated at the top of her class and earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2005.
Her chiropractic career began in Beverly Hills and Hollywood as the "chiropractor to the stars". During her time in LA she met and married the man of her dreams who is now a Colonel in the USMC. During her last stint in Hawaii, her miracle boy Joey was born in 2014 and is the light of their lives!
As a military spouse she has moved every 1-3 years so she has practiced in North County San Diego CA, Newport RI, Arlington VA, and even in Germany and around Europe but she is thrilled to be back in Kailua - which certainly feels like home.
As a former athlete herself, and with a background in rehabilitation, personal training, and massage therapy, Dr. Cherry is extremely knowledgeable about the human body. She believes that the fastest way to recovery is by treating the patient spirit, mind, and body. She prides herself in her diagnostic skills and her ability to think outside the box. Each patient is given a customized treatment plan specific to meet their needs. Her approach is gentle and specific.
Dr. Cherry is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and she excels at the treatment of pregnant women and children of all ages (birth-100!).
